SportDOG® Brand Announces Third Annual Companions for Conservation Contest

Companions for Conservation

Knoxville, Tennessee (May 26, 2016) – SportDOG® Brand, the industry-leading manufacturer of electronic dog training products and accessories, has announced the continuation of its Conservation Fund initiative. The Companions for Conservation contest will result in three lucky youth hunters taking ownership of puppies, trained by SportDOG Brand® Senior ProStaff members, as well as SportDOG Brand training gear – a prize package valued at $5,000 each.

2016 is the year of the Labrador! Three of the country’s top waterfowl gun-dog trainers, Tom Dokken, Derek Randle, and Chris Akin, will provide training through the started stage of the Labs; black, yellow, and chocolate, respectively.

The contest will kick off at 11am on June 1, 2016. To enter, post your original dog training, youth education project, hunting, or wildlife habitat related photo to the SportDOG Brand Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or via the web form. The post must contain the hashtag corresponding to the dog you’d like to win: #C4CBLACKLAB, #C4CYELLOWLAB, or #C4CCHOCOLATELAB.

Entries can be submitted between 11am EST, on June 1, 2016, and 5pm EST, on June 22, 2016. A panel of judges will then vote and decide on three finalists for each puppy, after which, a month-long public voting period for the grand prize winners will take place on sportdog.com. The three lucky winners with the most votes will be announced at 11am EST, on August 5, 2016.
