This year’s RGS/AWS Print of the Year is named "Backstage Jitters" by Bob Bertram. The piece shows the behavior of a male grouse prior to pounding his thunderous message on a springtime drumming log. Bob Bertram is a professional artist from Missouri who is well-known for his commission artwork of bird dogs. "I paint because I enjoy the process, from the initial development of the idea to the last session when the final strokes are applied.
