Anyone Interested in Bidding on a Live Auction Item(s) Can Still Contact the Ruffed Grouse Society To Place a Reserve Bid. See below for details.

Last week RGS posted the below notice and sent out its National News email including an announcement that online bidding would be available for the live auction at the 2013 National Grouse and Woodcock Hunt. Unfortunately, the online bidding had to be cancelled. RGS sinecerely apologizes for any inconvenience.
The NGWH live auction will continue as it has in the past, and anyone interested in bidding from a remote location can contact RGS at editor@ruffedgrousesociety.org for a description of the items and for placing a reserve bid. When bidding, please include a clear description of the item and reserve bid amount, your name, address, telephone number and email address. The reserve bids must be received by editor@ruffedgrousesociety.org by Friday, October 11, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. CST to be eligible for the live auction.
Thank you for your support of RGS!

RGS 2013 National Grouse and Woodcock Hunt Live Auction items are being made available to all RGS members and site visitors for bidding online in real-time for the first time.

Bidding takes place through the secure national online auction website proxibid.com which has bank-level fraud protection and is 100% PCI compliant. Proxibid lets you get in on the action — take part in real, physical auctions taking place anywhere in the world — all from your computer.

The auctioneers for the event are Bob and Jeremy Janzen of Janzen Auctioneers. This link will open their site www.proxibid.com/janzen within the proxibid.com website where viewers may open the Current Events listing and then, once the event is added, open the RGS National Hunt event to view the Catalog of items, their descriptions and photos, if applicable. Please check back often as the Catalog, with descriptions and photos, is not expected to be complete until the week of October 6.

Those interested in bidding on any of these items will need to already be registered on the proxibid site or use the Sign Up and Sign up to buy buttons to create an account. You are also strongly encouraged to click the Buying button to read about how to bid and watch the general overview video. This will be a Live Auction and users should definitely watch the Learn more video below that header and explore all available information, including the FAQ tab at the bottom of the Buying page, on the website.
