Upland Game Skills Course

Instructors: Mark Fouts and Meadow Kouffeld-Hansen 

Develop shotgun skills while discovering wildlife management, upland game, hunting dogs, hunting techniques, and game preparation in a comfortable environment. Most class meetings will follow up with a non-competitive round of trap with volunteer instructors. Prior completion of hunter safety is highly encouraged. Participants may need to cover range fees and provide their own shotgun shells depending on funding. Some shotguns available for use for those who do not have access to one. Course culminates with a pheasant hunt at Old Vermilion Trail, in Duluth with volunteer instructors, guides and dogs.

Registered and interested participants should attend the “Meet and Greet” with instructors, Mark & Meadow, at 6:00PM on 4/19/17 at Black Woods Grill & Bar (2525 London Road, Duluth, MN. 55811). Contact markf@ruffedgrousesociety.org with questions.
